Creating templates for cards, lists, and boards
Did you know that you can copy pretty much anything in Trello? Checkout the article Copying cards, boards, or lists to learn how to do it.
Because it's easy to copy something in Trello, you can make templates for anything. For example, you could:
- Create a board called "Project Template" if you create the same kind of boards for new projects. Just copy the template board when you need a new one.
- Create a list called "To Do Every Week" that contains recurring tasks and copy the list at the beginning of the week. You could even store this list in a separate board and move the copied list to the board you want.
- Create a card "Presentation Template" that contains checklists for all the things you need to do to prepare for a presentation. When you have to give the presentation again, just copy the card.
